Rollerchimp and long time collaborator Andrew Johnston have created interactive visuals for an entire evening of hi-tech tracks and improvisations by Alon Ilsar, Daniel Pliner and Josh Ahern, aka The Sticks.  Lovingly described by punters as Future Freaky Jazz, the concert uses the live motion capture of Alon Ilsar’s gestural electro-drum kit and live audio feeds to procedurally create the visuals in real-time .  The show features performers playing behind a transparent scrim that allows the mixture of 2D and 3D interactive visuals to float in front of the band.  Performed live in Sydney and Melbourne, to a mesmerised audience, the concert supports the band’s self-titled debut album.

“Innovative, moody and enthralling, Sydney three-piece The Sticks go beyond the realm of a standard electronic band. Their live show alone is a revelation.” (Happy)
