Frameshift is a journey through time. Korea in 1926, 2016, and 2106 are taken as snapshots and we dance the question – who are we as we make our way from the past to the future?
Frameshift is a new co-production of Stalker Theatre with Seoul Street Arts Festival, incorporating the talents of Stalker choreographers and director, and video mapping and interactive technology artists with Korean vertical performance group Creative Dandi, and B-boys, Drifterzcrew. Interactive 360 degree projection mapping by Rollerchimp.
Set on three aerial rigs which act as screen projectors, stage, dance floor, tribal turf, climbing gym and circular tracking for the the aerialists as they hang, bat – like from the top, Frameshift is as visually stunning as it is multilayered.
