Jasper and Jarli are two short films directed by Simon Rippingale and produced by the Royal Australian Airforce in collaboration with the UTS Animal Logic Academy.  Jasper is the journey of a little girl with big dreams to become a Jet pilot encourages girls to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.  Jarli, co-directed by Chatelle Murray, expands on these themes and depicts an Indigenous girl’s journey to become an Australian Astronaut. The films merge advanced robotics, 3d-printing, real-time graphics and CGI film technology with traditional model making techniques as a part of Rippingale’s Phd Research into blended film making.   Rollerchimp helped out Research and Development around the use of the robot and on-set Augmented Reality solutions.
